The Flexitouch system is an advanced intermittent pneumatic compression device (lymphedema pump) used by tens of thousands of patients to self-manage lymphedema and nonhealing venous leg ulcers.
Numerous garment and program options to meet each patient’s unique treatment needs.
Numerous clinical studies showing achievement of major clinical benefits and cost savings.
Adjustable garments to adequately fit the unique anatomical contours of each patient, providing a targeted, individualized treatment.
Clinically proven to stimulate the lymphatic system and redirect fluid to healthy regions of the body.
Designed to improve compliance and patient satisfaction.

JAMA Dermatol. 2015;151(11):1187–1193. The study analyzed upper and lower extremity lymphedema patients with cancer related (1A) and non-cancer related lymphedema (1B) treated with the Flexitouch System. The study evaluated use of the Flexitouch System as a tool for the treatment of lymphedema. The study documented a reduction in the rate of cellulitis episodes following use of the Flexitouch System for the treatment of lymphedema. The Flexitouch System is not used for nor intended for use to treat cellulitis.

How it Works
The Flexitouch system moves lymph fluid to reduce swelling.
The system features a programmable controller unit with seventeen different treatment programs. When activated, the air chambers inflate and deflate sequentially, creating a wave-like motion that directs lymph fluid from areas of impaired lymphatic function toward healthy regions of the body where it can be absorbed and processed. Inflation lasts just a few seconds per chamber.

I find the Flexitouch to be very beneficial for my patients with lymphedema who cannot maintain a stable volume reduction. The Flexitouch gives them an effective tool to use in their homes to manage their lymphedema successfully.”
